I really loved waking up to the stunning views of Mt. Cook just outside our cabin, but the kitchen could use more ventilation as it got a bit stuffy.

I had a grand time staying in a lovely dorm! The views of Mt. Cook right outside were spectacular, and the facilities were spotlessly clean. A downside was the noisy crowd at night. they were yapping until the wee hours.

Would recommend for a swift visit
Stunning views, cozy common areas, with access to numerous activities nearby, including a scenic flight over majestic glaciers from the local airport, made my stay exceptionally enjoyable.
Nothing could have been better.

Excellent views of Mt. Cook from the dorm.
I was appalled by the lack of basic facilities. With only one power socket for ten people, we had to choose between charging our phones or staying warm. And to make matters worse, the kitchen was closed during crucial lunch hours, making it impossible to cook anything for ourselves. A freezing walk to distant bathrooms added to the misery of our stay.

Clean rooms and great coffee shop. Wi-Fi was spotty at times though.

Solo travelers paradise
Took advantage of the late check-in, they left my key in the mailbox which was such a relief after the long drive! The lounge area was super cozy with a roaring fire that was perfect for unwinding after all that hiking.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it was fair enough.

Breathtaking views!
The location is just wow! We were lucky to be there when the leaves were changing, so nice. The common room was super cozy, perfect to chill after a long day exploring. The kitchen was tidy, but finding enough cutlery was a bit tricky at times. Oh, and picnic tables outside made for great lunch spots!

Couple looking for fine views!
I loved driving around to find our own spot, it felt unique and freeing! The bathrooms were spacious and clean, which is a big deal when you're out in the middle of nowhere.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for the experience, I’d say it was fair enough.
